Each year, Yelp chooses its top 100 places to eat in the United States.
Yelp’s annual Top 100 Places to Eat celebrates local restaurants across the U.S. that reflect the unique tastes of the Yelp community. From jackfruit carnitas at local taquerias to umami-rich burgers, we love hearing about your favorite local restaurants and giving them the recognition they deserve. This year, we are once again asking you, our food-loving community, to share your favorites and new discoveries to help determine this year’s Top 100 Places to Eat.
What is Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat list? How is it different this year?
Yelp’s annual Top 100 Places to Eat list covers a wide range of places to eat -- from white tablecloth to food trucks and taquerias. It’s a diverse mix that truly captures the uniqueness of the Yelp community. We encourage our community to submit their favorite spots, whether it’s a cozy diner, trendy food truck or a favorite date night gem.

How will you determine this year’s list?
To determine Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in 2025, Yelp’s data science team will start by using the data generated from our community submissions. From the candidate restaurants, we will narrow the list down with the expertise of our community managers and Trend Expert to curate a list as quirky, interesting and unique as the Yelp Community itself.
Describe the nominations process.
Nominations will open to the entire Yelp community on Tuesday, October 1st at Top100.Yelp.com. The nominations period will close on Monday, October 14th. All restaurant nominations must have a Yelp business page to be considered.
The final list will be announced early next year - stay tuned!
